Breast reduction is performed on people who have neck tension, headaches, shoulder pain, low back pain and chronic skin infections under the breast fold due to their breast size.
An incision is made in the lower part of each breast, around the nipple and areola. Excess breast tissue, fat and skin are removed to reduce the size of the breasts. The breast will then be reshaped and the procedure will be completed.
