Mini facelift

The mini facelift is generally preferred for patients with mild jowl and skin laxity. The mini facelift is a minimally invasive technique that allows the deep facial tissues to be tightened by making shorter incisions along the hairline above each ear or in the creases around the ear. Depending on the patient’s condition, a mini facelift can be performed under sedation, local anaesthetic or general anaesthetic.

Standard facelift

The standard facelift procedure addresses wrinkles and sagging around the middle, face and neck. The standard facelift procedure is more comprehensive than the mini facelift. Therefore, it requires a longer recovery time. But the results are clearer and more impressive. Deep tissues under the skin are repositioned through incisions that begin just behind the hairline, near the temples, and are hidden in the natural folds in front of the ear. Thus, sagging is recovered and a vigorous appearance is obtained. Excess skin can be removed to eliminate jowl and sagging under the chin.
