Root canal treatment, also known as endodontics, is a preferred treatment method to save infected or decaying teeth. Certain conditions are required for root canal treatment to be performed; it is not a preferred treatment for every tooth decay. Generally, inadequate intervention with filling, inflammation, and progressive tooth decay are sufficient reasons for root canal treatment. Patients do not feel any pain during the treatment. The application is usually completed within 1 hour after the relevant area is numbed.
